The beta version of the Romanian-Hungarian and Hungarian-Romanian medical dictionary is available now on www.meditradox.com. This is version is for testing purposes and contains about 18 000 words and expressions. The aim of this dictionary is to provide a comprehensive and reliable source for medical professionals. It is being updated on regular basis by our staff.

Meditradox new training program for medical translators was held between 20 and 24 September. The course was aimed to external collaborators specialized in the medical field. We focused on relevant issues of medical translation, such as the usage of standard Hungarian and Romanian medical terminology, with special emphasis on preparing the materials for translation, the appropriate syntax and style of medical translations, CAT-tools, etc. The discussions covered the use of different templates (EMEA templates, templates for Discharge Summaries, etc), the appropriate style for ICFs, SPCs, as well as the use of different translation tools: termbases, TMs, glossaries, etc.
